The Train Window Is My Favorite Television

Watching the world drift by has always been one of the greatest joys of travel. Every now and then, a fleeting moment outside the window, a lonely station, a distant settlement, stillness of the valleys, a river crossing, or a passing face feels powerful enough to tell a story on its own.
